Zions bank has a comprehensive benefits package. While health insurance is a high deductible/HSA plan, the premiums are cheap and allow for you to funnel more money into your HSA. The company also offers great vacation time, 401k match, and a vision/dental reimbursement plan. They also offer tuition assistance for continuing education in a relevant field.
PTO is accrued quickly as well as sick leave.
Terrible coverage that literally costs me thousands of dollars every year. No other option. It's mostly for emergencies or catastrophic situations.
Worst thing: High deductible plans
Benefits were available to all employees working more than 20 hours per week, however, they were VERY expensive premiums and out of pocket expenses were VERY expensive. All decisions regarding benefits were made by individuals who were on the high end of salaries without investigating the affect it had on lower-salaried employees.
Compared to the financial industry - Zions Bank has the worst benefits. 3 weeks of vacation starting off and then a Maximum of 4 weeks of vacation after 5 years employment. Medical premiums are very expensive with high deductibles - worst insurance I've had. Vision/Dental Insurance is a reimbursement plan - not actual insurance, reimburses 50% of the cost paid out of pocket.
High Deductible and low coverage on health insurance
Benefit package was unfortunately marginal.
Vacation and time-off is pretty great (as it is at any financial institution). Your first year is the toughest, but from there it's pretty smooth sailing.
If you bank with them they have good perks
