  • Health Insurance  (11 comments)

“Minimal coverage and high deductible plans HSA options don't cover the difference for families in need of additional coverage.”

  • Vacation & Paid Time Off  (7 comments)

“As a teller it’s great to get two weeks of paid vacation. But the managers only get 4, which is a lot less than the industry standard for that...”

They match your contributions to your 401k at 4% if you contribute at least 5%. But the health insurance is pretty bad. My deductible was 12,000 for two of us. And they make it hard to get the company contributions to your HSA

Health insurance is awful, all plans are for catastrophes only. Premiums are low but then deductibles are $9,500 for 2018.

Health insurance plans aren't anything exciting, but they do full dental reimbursement (for any dental work). Profit sharing after a year and 401k matching is competitive. Time off is about average for any industry. Great employee discounts on practically all banking products and services. Take advantage while you're there. Excellent employee wellness resources such as addiction recovery, mental health, and counseling. LOTS of local discounts at practically everywhere Zions advertises plus many local businesses when you use a Zions credit card.

You vest immediately in the 401k. Insurance benefits kind of suck, you have to pay a lot a month for a somewhat reasonable deductible.

Health insurance offers high deductible plans which is often bemoaned within the company.

PTO is accrued quickly as well as sick leave.

Zions bank has a comprehensive benefits package. While health insurance is a high deductible/HSA plan, the premiums are cheap and allow for you to funnel more money into your HSA. The company also offers great vacation time, 401k match, and a vision/dental reimbursement plan. They also offer tuition assistance for continuing education in a relevant field.

Terrible coverage that literally costs me thousands of dollars every year. No other option. It's mostly for emergencies or catastrophic situations.

    Worst thing: High deductible plans
