Again you get $10 off every shift you work. Not the best benefit when some of there food prices are well over $10.

    $10 off meals when working

  • Company Social Events(3 comments)

They have an allotted amount of money given each month for employee appreciation.

You get a free meal every shift and thats it.

Zoës Kitchen response

While we didn't offer benefits to hourly employees at the time you wrote your review, we rolled them out shortly after. We are happy to have these offerings and hope you are too!

Free healthy food, 401k options, great healthcare packages, competitive PTO

PTO does not roll-over. Also days the store is closed for company planned days they take your PTO days but don't tell you. IE store is closed for Christmas even if you work 5 days that week you are charged a PTO day. Don't tell people they get these days off but charge them for PTO.

Zoës Kitchen response

Thank you for your review. The 3 days a year our restaurants are closed should not be getting deducted from your 20 days of PTO. Please reach out to hr@zoeskitchen.com as soon as possible to look into this.

The best thing was the free meals.

Their insurance is terrible, doesn't cover anything. They don't match 401k with anything. But they really want you to sign up for one, asking for time off is impossible people were always calling out and wouldn't be punished but the people who were reliable did the job of the GM who was never there.

The only thing I really loved about Zoe's Kitchen was the free meal at the end of every shift. You really got a chance to try everything, which makes it easier to recommend to customers.

Former Employee in Jacksonville, Florida

It was nice having free meals.

Former Host Cashier in Knoxville, Tennessee

I worked part time, and at the time of my employment, benefits were not offered to part time employees. We did get a free shift meal after every shift and a lot of food was given away at the end of the night/if an order was messed up, etc.
