Low pay, nice local benefits.
Flexible work schedule. Great benefits with a relaxed and fun work environment. They also just recently added onsite daycare for Zoot families. You
Bring your dog to work!
Good health insurance and other benefits
401k matching at 3% with immediate vesting is nice. Negotiating 3 weeks vacation at the beginning is common and good. High deductible health insurance is not very good.
The company is very flexible and is small enough to work with employees regarding unique requests such as flexible vacation, working at home, etc.
Fully paid health insurance for individuals, life insurance, matching 401K, pet friendly, flexible schedules, work from home are all very nice. Nothing negative coming to mind.
Best thing is the "unwritten" stuff, such as when you need time off for a family issue/commitment, and receive not only approval, but also someone who cares enough to ask afterwards how you're doing/the situation's going.
Good: - Can bring well behaved dogs to work - Onsite cafeteria - not free but good food and healthy options - They contribute to employee 401k when company is profitable - Excellent and friendly HR staff Not so good: - Expensive and not that great health insurance - not really Zoot's fault - No regular compensation reviews until recent changes but too soon to tell how it will work out - Should be easier to work from home - especially since this is a tech company
