Wow. Fantastic benefits. Fully paid health and dental insurance, 4 day workweeks, free food trucks for lunch twice a week (2/4 work days per week!), company update meetings with the CEO once a month, volunteer/professional development opportunities during workdays, casual dress code. What's not to like. It was fantastic, best benefits I've ever seen.
There is nothing bad to say about the benefits here. They are honestly the best you're going to find in the industry.
All of it. I especially appreciate the 4 day work weeks and flexible time off.
4 day work week, flex time, unlimited vacation, employee insurance is 100% paid by the company
401K matched by a la mode is a great deal. Starting vacation time is very low for any software professional.
Employee paid benefits and super affordable family coverage. Low deductibles. Immediate vesting in the 401(k) plan. Unlimited vacation and flex time. Ability to work from home, if needed.
Insurance is fully covered, the 401K is nice. Could work from home every now and then if needed.
4 day work week, unlimited vacation
The company offers perks that most companies would never even dream of. Provided lunches on some days, lunch money as part of our salary to help cover the other days. 401K. They've covered the cost of increase in our insurance for several years running now as well to keep employee insurance costs to a minimum. Oh... and don't forget the 4-day work week!
Full disclosure -- I'm a shareholder and I need to disclose this to be able to use this site so I'm including a factual accounting of our benefits with no fluff or spin. a la mode offers unlimited vacation and maternity/paternity leave, every Friday off with one Friday of each month being dedicated to a team building event that each team can choose to do with as they want, a great cafe with food and food trucks each week (paid for by the company). And of the positions that were minimum wage, they raised the minimum starting salary to $30,000.
