Best things: Cell phone reimbursement, maternity/paternity leave, PTO and company holidays were pretty good Worst things: Aetna is horrible but athena covered like 85% of the bi-weekly cost so it didn't eat as much of your paycheck
Coverage has gotten better than it used to be. Used to have stock options, but moving private, this will no longer be an option.
I suppose with today's options in corporate America the medical benefit's are average. I've had better . athena does kick in a slightly greater amount than the employee towards premiums but the overall package selections aren't great in terms of out of pocket costs. Usual FSA and HSA options are offered. As of now, all bank holidays are observed which is nice. PTO is decent and increases per years of employment (you gain 4 add'l days after employed 4 years).
Insurance is surprisingly expensive, however vacation policy is great
Excellent perks at the time of this writing (12/2018). Great mat/pat leave, PTO, sabbatical, policy and more.
The best thing about the benefits package at athenahealth is the 20 days of PTO to start.
Health insurance was not good.
Good benefits, fleixible vacation time
everything is fine, great benefits
401k match. Health benefits ok but high deductible.
