DI has historically had good benefits.
401K offers immediate vesting after 6 months and company offers healthy match. I would highly recommend participating if you can.
Heath insurance at Drilling Info was surpassed by none; very reasonable and competitive co-pays for a mid-sized company. Profit sharing is not bad.

The 401K matching was pretty darn nice. The health package was good too. PTO/Vacation days. All-in-all one of the best packages I've had.
Time off is not granted on an accrual basis, it is use as needed with approval. Company has been extremely generous to employees with illness and family needs, encourages vacation, and a work life balance. In short do your work, be responsible, communicate, and there won't be a time clock or someone over your shoulder. Have had nothing but a positive experience with the health insurance. Many are holding their breath for a small piece of the IPO someday.
The flexibility of PTO and being able to work remotely/from home is great, as well as the matching contributions to the 401K plan. The PTO is below the national average and the Austin average, so that could use some work. And while the added benefit of maternity/paternity leave is great, it has been a LONG time coming.
