Unfortunately it takes a year to become eligible for 401k and vacation time is LOST if not used during the year it is accrued.
It was a new benefit package, so there were a lot of kinks that needed to be worked out. PTO was only 10 days a year and they could not be taken all at once: For service manager and higher. No FMLA offered at the time.
They even had a discount for Verizon for all employees. But I think the pay was very fair and time off was easy to negotiate.
Honeygrow started offering basic health insurance for team members who work more than a certain number of hours. However, because (at least at my location) corporate is always on about labor costs, no one has reached the required amount of hours needed to be eligible for health insurance.
New company offers nothing to part time employees and it's hard to become a full time one
They have a pretty good Heath care for me and my family. The 401k is a nice option to have for people who are going to work there.
