We were paid on sick days and days of vacation. The pay was decent over minimum wage/good management.
The employee discount was 40% to 50% off of everything. That was great, but the job wasn't worth it.
good benefit package and pto
part time employees do not get any type of benefits. they don't like hiring full time for that reason. we currently have a full time position open and they won't fill. we are coming up christmas and we need another manager.
There are no benefits at all for employees who are not managers. Even, temp holiday managers get no benefits. There is a 40% discount offered to all employees which is nice.
40% off for all emplyeees, occasional 60% off’s on certain items, can request days off any time, earn gem cards for exceptional work and the cards sometimes give you an extra 10-25% off on top of your discount, it’s a very exciting atmosphere and time flies.
Only open to full-time managers during open enrollment
Best: Forty-percent off on all regular priced clothing and they usually give you your days off if you request them ahead of time. Worst: Frequently getting called in on days off and not respecting availability.
You get to work with nice people, however this job is very demanding and you’re paid minimum wage. You have to push customers to buy fragrances that don’t last and/or are cheap smelling. People always call out of shifts and constantly ask to be covered.
Best- the 40% off employee discount Worst- people always calling out of their shift.
