Zulily's benefits are OK — you get a lot of health insurance options, but they tend to be expensive and don't cover that much.
Not in line with local market
You get really good health care
culture is really great here
Company has added 4 floating holidays in 2019 and are also giving additional PTO based on tenure. Health care plans have gone from 2-3 options to 5 with multiple providers available. Overall, benefits in 2019 seem to be great
Worst benefits when compared with other Tech companies in Seattle! 401k - Company doesnt match the first year. After that it matches half of employee contribution till a max of 2%. Also, company doesnt match if employee not employed on last day of the year. Just too many conditions. Medica HSA - Till 2018 company didnt contribute towards HSA. But in 2019, they are contributing $500 for a family. Paid leave - Only 3 weeks paid leave and NO SICK days! If you want to work at zulily you better not get sick.
3 weeks of PTO - gets higher longer the tenure.
It's very average. A few choices of health insurance, but still pricey
Health Insurance could be better and more company perks
I was a contractor at zulily for about a month. Contractors get absolutely no benefits or perks. We were made to feel lucky to have a job.
