What does a CAD Designer do?

A CAD Designer utilized computer-aided design software to create three-dimensional models of complicated structures for many fields including automotive, manufacturing, product development and host of others. Experience with the CAD process can be enough to land you a job with some employers, but having a minimum of a 2-year degree in CAD Design will take you further in your career. Some employers prefer a bachelor's or advanced degrees and certifications. Having experience and certification in multiple software systems is a big plus.
