Gate Gourmet is one of the world's largest in-flight caterers, alongside rival LSG Sky Chefs. Gate Gourmet prepares more than 200 million meals each year for travelers. It serves customers from its 100 flight kitchens in more than 25 countries. The company boasts contracts with about 250 airlines, including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and Thai Airways. Gate Gourmet also offers consulting on menu and service design, cost monitoring, and logistics. Gate Gourmet began in 1992 as the catering arm of Swissair; it is now part of the publicly traded gategroup.

When it's time to eat out, Performance Food Group (PFG) delivers. The #3 broadline foodservice distributor in the US (behind SYSCO and U.S. Foodservice), PFG supplies more than 68,000 products to restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality operators through about 20 distribution facilities. Its PFG-Customized distribution division serves chain restaurants such as Cracker Barrel and Ruby Tuesday, while its Roma Food unit supplies pizzerias, Italian restaurants, and specialty food shops. PFG subsidiary Vistar is a distributor of candy, snacks, and convenience foods for vending operators, retailers, and concessions. The company was taken private in 2008 by The Blackstone Group and Wellspring Capital Management.

Bob Wills saw Miles and Miles of Texas, and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) makes sure that we do too. TxDOT builds and maintains interstate, US, and state highways, as well as farm-to-market roads throughout the state. It also oversees public transportation systems in the state. The aviation division assists local governments manage funds for airport development. In 2009 the agency transferred some its responsibilities, including issuing license plates and vehicle titles, to the newly created Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. The governor-appointed, five-member Texas Transportation Commission oversees TxDOT's work. The agency dates back to the Texas Highway Department, created in 1917.

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, known as SEPTA, provides passenger transportation services in the Philadelphia area. The agency's operations include buses, subways and elevated trains, trolleys, and light rail and commuter rail lines. All together, SEPTA maintains more than 300 stations and bus terminals, chiefly in five Pennsylvania counties (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia) and in the neighboring states of Delaware and New Jersey. Its territory spans some 2,200 sq. mi. The Pennsylvania legislature established SEPTA in 1964, and over the years the agency has acquired the assets of several for-profit transportation companies that operated in the region.
