They collaborate with managers and staff to implement financial and marketing plans, write reports outlining various business strategies, and design detailed plans to enforce them. Planning analysts create economic forecasts and sales projections based on new and current business data and need a bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or related fields of study.

What responsibilities are common for Planning Analyst Intern jobs?

  • Compile, analyze and interpret monthly reports and other data.

  • Be a key part of the team that provide strategic and tactical information as a critical tool in our decision making processes.
  • Provide zoning administration and coordinate presentations to the public, elected, or appointed officials.
  • Evaluate existing and proposed project sites and facilities with respect to program requirements.
  • Oversee the planning improvement processes for defined product families and suppliers to exceed company KPIs.
  • Meet regularly with client leads to evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in hiring process including identifying hiring criteria, recruiting, and interviewing applicants.
  • Create and maintain financial models to drive business decisions.
