What does a Production Analyst do?
Production analysts are responsible for evaluating and improving processes for the production of material goods or electronic information. They document and study existing processes, identify points of inefficiency or potential disruptions, and recommend solutions that can streamline operations and improve efficiency. They play an active role in strategic planning for optimizing workflow and building operational frameworks and procedures. They also configure and implement systems and programs to automate tasks and processes. They may create training manuals and other guides.
Production analysts typically have a bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field, although relevant professional experience may be acceptable. They may have a background as a business analyst or technical consultant. These roles require strong analytical skills and thorough attention to detail. Proficiency with database management systems and common office software programs is helpful.
- Work closely with mortgage bankers to provide loan origination and deal structuring support under all permanent lending programs.
- Model loan submissions in order to determine the viability of loan requests.
- Prepare loan submissions to third party capital lending sources and aids in the processing of the loans with third party investors.
- Assist mortgage bankers in shepherding loans through the due diligence and closing process.
- Assist with business development by tracking transactions and fostering relationships with borrowers, brokers and investors.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or computer science.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong time management and problem solving skills.
- Comfortable working in cloud-based environment.
