What does a Senior IT Systems Analyst do?

Systems analysts study an organization’s current computer systems and procedures and design solutions to help her operate more efficiently and effectively. They bring business and information technology together by understanding both their needs and their limitations. They consult with managers to determine technology’s role in an organization and research emerging technologies to decide if installing them can increase the organization's efficiency and effectiveness as desired.
