What responsibilities are common for Systems Test Technician jobs?
  • Perform service tasks related to electrical power equipment, including repair, replacement, refurbishment, and upgrade.
  • Keep current with new techniques and developments in the service and testing of electrical power equipment.
  • Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components, using hand tools and soldering iron.
  • Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.
  • Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
  • Ensure work is in accordance with OSHA and DOT standards.
  • Support test plan development and execution, scheduling, logistics, and inventory.

  • Requisition materials and supplies and schedule heavy vehicles when necessary.
