Technical managers collaborate with development teams and departments and incorporate user feedback into the systems and ensure CIS innovation and implementation occur at a timely and efficient speed. They manage support teams, evaluate performance metrics, and oversee CIS user testing and adjustments. They hire and train new IT department staff and maintain computer network infrastructure while ensuring networks remain secure.
