Am I underpaid? I make $75k a year at Capgemini. I started off as a campus hire making 68k in HCOL. I’ve been there over 2 years and been promoted once. My role is a Business Analyst and I’ve been billable 99% of the time
Ya for sure lol, but you’ll have people telling you otherwise
Like212Yeah you’re underpaid lol
Like15275 or more should have been your starting 2 years ago and you should be at over 100 by now. But again you do work for crap gemini
Like177All I can say is “oof”
Like121they don’t call it 🧢Gemini for nothing my boy
Like148Underpaid for sure. Especially if you’re a good analyst. How is your data analytics skills? SQL, R, Python etc. If they’re good, apply aggressively with a salary target of $110k with room to negotiate it down to $100k. Alternatively, if you’re work life balance is good. Build a freelance business on FIVR. The cache you built in fivr could actually set you up much better off than chasing the corporate ladder, and give you room to learn new skills.
Like134Are you by any chance international?
Like85Yes
Like81Guess Cap has really gotten cheap recently since campus hires were starting in the 70's when I was at Cap 10 years ago.

Like56I had 2 years of experience when I joined Capgemini almost 2 decades ago and got 70 on a work visa. So yes, they are screwing you over bigly
Like60Do you mind me asking your gender?
Like47Are you in the gradual increases program? What BU? I started at a lower salary than you (52k) and after 3 years at 96k
Like40Look outside and let the market decide that. But yeah you can do a lot better
Like34Ouch
Like21Is quiet quitting still an option
Like19I mean….you make so much money for the rest of the country and that’s a fantastic place to start. But you’re in the consulting bowl bubble which means those numbers are basically poverty. Can you even afford a 10k watch that sits in your closet display case?
Like33I made $68k with a master’s at Cap starting in 2015 at age 32
