How are people making 200-300K+ total comp? I’m a tech consultant at Accenture and my TC is around 170K. I feel like I’m always hearing about these super high numbers, so does anyone have any tips on how to get there and what fields command that high of a compensation?

- I mean you’re not far. I went tech consulting/implementation work to the actual software company and started at 170K OTE (base + bonus) and another ~20 in RSUs. 2 years later at about 190K OTE and 30ish per year RSUs for total of 220. About to hit 7 YOE.LikeReply32

- I mean you’re almost at the bottom of that range with a raise. Once we are in good times again I’d bet you can get firmly into mid 200s just by switching firms for the same role.LikeReply21
