A few jobs applications I applied have been sitting for more than 2 months as active status. I even message some of the hiring managers that interviewed me. What is that even mean at this point?

    They aren’t hiring. Companies post jobs to give the impression of growth.

  3. Marketing Manager 1

    Based on my experience, I would hear back the next day after every interview if they truly had an intention of hiring. Anything longer than that, they are deliberating between multiple candidates and you may not be the top choice. 2 months is way too long, I'd suggest you move on.
