I have 5+ years of work experince and completed my Masters in Marketing. I have so many interviews, cleared the last rounds(10 companies), cracked a job interview received an offer, and decided to ghost me after that, at this point in time. I have no faith left. any tips? I have been applying since Oct 2022. Is the market going to value me or should I change my career and go into Business Analytics?

What sector of marketing are you applying for now? I’m sorry the company ghosted you at the job offer stage. That’s so unprofessional to leave you hanging after you went through the entire process

LikeDon’t give up. Since COVID, companies started doing Zoom interviews, which makes it easy for them to interview a ton of people. Before they had to be more selective of who they scheduled to come in person. Plus there are a lot of different circumstances. Some companies don’t know what they want, so after rounds of interviews, they end up rewriting the job and never getting back to the candidates. Some have an internal candidate they know they want but they are just going through the motions. Some opened a position only to find out that a higher up disagreed and they pulled it. Some are just rude and unprofessional. Ghosting you after making you an offer? How long have they ghosted you? Did you call HR or the hiring manager or the hiring manager’s boss? Maybe there was an illness or family emergency. It really seems unheard of for a company to make an offer and then ghost you. Anyway- bottomline is that there are a million scenarios and you just need to keep trying.
