I just finished a second round interview. I think it went well. I have a question if the interviewer towards the end asks personal questions like favorite sports team and other non work related questions. Is that a good sign? They didn’t mention anything about next steps at the end. They hadn’t in the first round either the recruiter reached out to my surprise for the second round.
I would think it was a good sign
Like6Idk. I would wonder in what context they asked them? Also, not everyone likes sports so to ask something that isn't super generic (like what's your favorite season/city/show) that anyone could answer would make me wonder if they were trying to personality/culture screen you.
LikeWell good thing is they sounded like they were the fans of the same teams.
Like1I think it’s a good sign. When I used to interview and was absolutely sure I would hire the person, I started to ask fun questions just to get to know the person better on a personal level and kill the rest of the time.
Like2I just got an email from Norton saying that I ran a reputation report card. I did not run that so do you think it’s the company I interviewed for running this? Is this common practice?
