Former Contractor - Construction Laborer

I worked at Aerotek for less than a year

Pros

Resonable pay Best staff I've ever seen at a staffing agency Good Benifits Listen to Employee Feedback

Cons

Overtime was difficult to anticipate

Advice to Management

I would just make sure that the staffers know more of the specifics before starting to work for a company. The hours fluctuated wildly -something I had been

Former Employee - Account Executive

I worked at Blue Chip Talent full-time for less than a year

Pros

My experience at Blue Chip was a good one! The company prides its self off of not being like “other” staffing agencies, which is greatly appreciated. For those that have been in staffing, you’ll... appreciate better work life balance (no one micromanages your time), a management team that treats you with respect, and staff in place willing to help you. People around the office are genuinely nice and everyone seems to get along very well with each other (I would say 30% of the office has worked with or knew each other previous employment). The owners (Ron & Nicole) have truly built a special culture, you almost wish every staffing company took a page out their book, it would make the industry to newcomers look a lot better. Management team is full of high character professionals, especially the manager I had within my department (engineering).

Cons

It’s the staffing industry so you have the ability to write your own check literally! Not a job where you can put in mediocre or average effort and expect it to pay dividends. You get in what you put... in PERIOD, and for many this creates frustration, which leads to a lot of turnover. The turnover can in some ways impact filling the business that you brought in if you do not have the proper coverage on your reqs.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing! You are not like most staffing companies and truly have one of the best cultures I have seen.
