Current Employee - Csa Lead

I have been working at Alaska Airlines part-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Started at reservations 30+ years ago, now I'm working at airport. First of all, I truly could not have asked for a more caring crew and company. When my families home burnt down, my Alaska... Airlines family got together with donations of money, food, clothing, and Christmas presents for my 3 boys. I don't think I'll ever leave. A lot of work from home opportunities available. Opportunity to travel

Cons

Can't be a smoker Some may see this as a con, I do not, but some may. It will take a long long time before you have seniority if you're in the Phoenix area.

Advice to Management

Not right now

Former Employee - Technician

I worked at Medstar Medical Transport full-time for more than a year

Pros

Great place to work! Management will treat you like family and recognizes hard work and sacrifices employees make for the company. Very professional environment, as hospitals, doctor offices and... skilled nursing facilities are an integral part of the job. Absolutely love the company nd the work it performs

Cons

It's largely up to ambulance drivers to keep their vehicles clean and maintain a clean company image. Unfortunately, not all drivers are on the same level, and we have occassionaly had to deal short... complaints on that end. However, most people that don't take pride in their job are usually weeded out pretty quickly

Advice to Management

Make sure employees maintain the image standard that you created and expect. Complacency is a killer
