Featured Review

I have been working at American States Water

Pros

The compensation is competitive but the friendly, family like feel of the office is the biggest benefit. The employees are taken care of and treated fairly.

Cons

Some of the senior management doesn't have a grasp on the magnitude of certain tasks or the frivolousness of other tasks. There is a cycle of reorganization that detaches departments across the... state which leads to slow sharing of information.

Advice to Management

If one department is going to be centralized, provide staffing equal to staffing before the centralization.

Pros

Can make money fast but a lot of time

Cons

Lots of hard work and time
