Former Employee - Table Games Dealer

I worked at Ameristar Casinos full-time for less than a year

Pros

Great communication between team members and supervisors. Flexible schedule and room to grow based on monthly training openings

Cons

Difficult physical environment if you aren't used to it (long hours of standing, smoke-filled dealing area)

Advice to Management

Commit to continuous improvements at tables and other areas for dealers to feel seen

Current Employee - Banker

I have been working at Blackstone Gaming full-time

Pros

This is a good job for anyone. You learn a lot about customer interactions, dealing with lots of numbers, and what its like to work in a fast pace environment. I was never good with numbers, but now... i'm fast with high numbers. I met a lot of new friends here.

Cons

Downtime. It gets slow sometimes.
