Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Benchmark Electronics full-time for more than a year

Pros

The company is in a state of transformation that makes it exciting to imagine its future state. The leadership cares about the employees and even more about its customers and meeting their needs is... HIGH priority. A seriously great company to work for.

Cons

Because of the speed of change, to work here you have to be willing to run close to redline. However, it is a marathon and it is exciting to see the pace of positive change.

Advice to Management

Take care of the employees who take care of the customers. We are in this together.

Former Employee - Financial Advisor

I worked at Edward Jones full-time for more than a year

Pros

Incredible training. Supportive network of advisors. You are given every opportunity to succeed with all the right tools. I was never turned away from another advisor when I needed help.

Cons

Perhaps more emphasis on sales training, and more exposure to the appointment process. Aside from that, I have nothing bad to say about the company. It is just a difficult industry to work in.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing! Just make sure your new hires are given the opportunity to see first and second appointments, and not just annual review appointments. Maybe provide some additional... sales training as well.
