Current Employee - Junior Art Director

I have been working at Blizzard Entertainment full-time for less than a year

Pros

Friendly collective and nice atmosphere.

Cons

You don't overwork but you work hardly at the time of your work.

"Keep growing"Jan 3, 2021

Current Employee - Infrastructure Engineer

I have been working at Riot Games full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

All the room you can ask for to grow. It’s entirely up to you to put in the work to get there. Management and coworkers have always been extremely supportive.

Cons

Even though we dont do super grind weeks/months/years there have been periods of this. Absolutely not like other studios, or the stories I’ve heard though. There’s a lot of pressure to keep pace... with the industry (infra/tech/gaming). This can be difficult for some folks to juggle, but it’s very helpful to yourself, team, product, etc.

Advice to Management

Keep listening. Keep supporting. Keep making tough choices and when you make bad, or wrong ones find out why and make a change.
