Pros
It’s genuinely fun to work with a tool that has so many different functionalities to get into, and team is well developed. Combines good environment/respect within the org with good amount of room... for opportunity.
Cons
Challenging to compete with so many established vendors, which makes wins potentially special.
Pros
Dropbox has great talents, top tier compensation, a fully remote environment, and large-scale challenging problems for engineers. Above all these, the work life balance is unbeatable.
Cons
While Dropbox has a stable business and customer base, Dropbox is still fighting hard to find the second hyper-growth product. Some teams (especially product teams) may need to pivot quite... frequently to find the right direction.
