Featured Review

Current Employee - Manager

I have been working at Brown-Forman part-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Brown-Forman is everything you want from a large, global employer, with the caring, relationship-based culture common in family-owned businesses. The company has impressive, competitive benefits and... compensation; a commitment to work/like integration; well-known brands (Jack Daniel's, Woodford Reserve); a commitment to growing employees' capabilities and careers; a strong focus on diversity and inclusion -- all with colleagues that challenge you, stretch you, care about you, and laugh with you!

Cons

Brown-Forman is a flat organization and makes balanced, thoughtful decisions. This means we have to be innovative, patient, focused, and savvy. This could prove frustrating for employees who are... looking for a fast-paced culture with constant change -- but it pays dividends for those that recognize and value a long-term perspective.

Current Employee - Engineer

I have been working at Constellation Brands full-time for more than a year

Pros

Engaged and passionate people. Most people love the work they do and you can tell people take pride in the wine and spirits they are a part of. Good ESPP, for salary positions there are flexible... schedules.

Cons

Can be demanding, lots of change, need to be self motivated

Advice to Management

Set a direction and stick to it. New SVP Robert Hanson is great.
