Former Employee - Analyst

I worked at CNL Financial full-time for more than a year

Pros

Great work culture with bright and passionate people alongside you. Really niche and interesting space to learn about. Good benefits but light on compensation.

Cons

Incredibly heavy in upper management and too much beurocracy for a mid size company. Doesn't take a lot of risk and in a volatile market like non-tradeds I worry they will be forced to exit due to... bigger institutional players.

Advice to Management

Cut the workforce as it was way over employed and be more swift in decision making. Have a serious conversation about what and how you need to change to operate in the space.

Former Employee - Executive Recruiter

I worked at Parker & Lynch full-time for less than a year

Pros

It all starts with the group of highly motivated individuals who work there. They are truly an impressive group that work their butts off, and still take time out of their day to help you. Very... flexible on how you want to run your book of business, but still give you guidelines to make you successful. Great compensation for those who are willing to put in the effort.

Cons

There are not many for those who are organized and willing to put in the work. For those who have not been in recruiting before, there is a learning curve, but can be overcome with the help of the... staff around you and a willingness to put yourself out there.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing and you will continue to cultivate a high level team!
