I worked at CROSSMARK full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Crossmark has an excellent reputation in the grocery industry. I take pride in my career and was proud to be employed by them, as well as to represent their company.

Cons

Mileage pay was not "up to par" in previous years.

Advice to Management

Please continue to encourage your staff. Your positive and encouraging emails inspired me to excell in my career. I looked forward to facing every single day with motivation and enthusiasm.

I have been working at Langland full-time for less than a year

Pros

I’ve worked at Langland for over a year and truly love it! I’m not sure where these negative reviews are coming from but it seems like they’re for the UK office not the US one… I feel like before... I write a review, I need to explain what Langland does, because it’s a lot different from other advertising and other health advertising. The New York office specializes in clinical trials, which is referred to as “clinical trial experience”. Aside from the more traditional advertising aspects of the job, we do things like create patient materials to help patients understand every aspect of a trial before they enroll. The work we do is so important and is so much of why I love working at Langland. It’s so meaningful in a way other health advertising and traditional advertising may not be. One of my favorite things about working at the New York office of Langland is that it’s a small team (~20 employees), so you get exposure to such amazing opportunities at a junior level. I’ve gotten to present in front of executive-level clients, lead client relationships, and do some really cool pitch work – seriously stuff I wouldn’t be allowed to touch if I worked at a large agency While Langland New York itself is small, Langland in the UK is larger, so you have the support of a skilled and experienced team behind everything you do, and there are some really experience creatives and employees in the UK Langland’s New York office is located in the Publicis Health New York office, which makes it feel like we work at a large agency even though our team is actually pretty small. Being a part of PH is great because there are a ton of cool BRGs and training sessions other cool events that PH puts on that we’re included in Honestly though, the best thing about Langland is the people. Everyone in the New York office is so nice and welcoming, and truly like a little family! About half of the New York office is British, which makes it a really unique place to work. Unlike a lot of my friends at other companies/ agencies, I love to come to work because I get to hang out with my friends/ coworkers everyday Langland also has a really good work/ life balance. We get a ton of vacation days (having a french parent company has its benefits!) The job is 9-5:30 but pretty flexible if you have a workout class in the morning and need to come a little late or need to catch a train to leave early or something, and everyone is chill if you need to work from home occasionally.

Cons

One of the biggest challenges of working at Langland is managing relationships/ communication with the UK office over phone/ email. The distance and time difference make it extra challenging, but I... always have to remind myself it makes for really great work experience.

Advice to Management

I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews on here! I’ve loved my experience at Langland and really do think it's a unique and great place to work. I feel lucky to work here
