environment can sometimes be too relaxed

I worked at Rightpoint full-time for more than 3 years

I worked for Rightpoint through most of 2018. While I am no longer there, I wanted to share some of my experiences. I was employed at Rightpoint for 4+ years and during this time, I can confidently... say that I saw the company grow up a lot. I enjoyed being a part of that. While I was there (and from what I am hearing from people I still keep in touch with), the company evolved in terms of the work that we did, the employees that the company attracted and the progress that was made on a number of internal initiatives that focused on people who are genuinely nice and care about doing good work. I was given an opportunity to advance my career and work with some great people. I got the sense that many of the people I worked for and those that worked with me on project teams generally had my back. The company is set up to focus on both the people and the clients. I think it was a great balance. I feel like the company tried to keep open lines of communication with everyone at the organization. This was important to me since I was not always in the office.

In regards to my last point on communication, I think that more can always be done in this department. The company does a good job of communicating through multiple channels. I think for me, I was... looking for more of an experience with people across offices and if there was a way to tie the company together through some of the tools that would have been a nice touch. I did not have a chance to travel to other offices as much as I would like. I also understand that the company is trying to do work locally so not everyone can be traveling to different offices just because they want to.

Advice to Management

While everyone at Rightpoint to entitled to opinions and feedback is openly encouraged, it is hard to sometimes take action on everything. I would encourage Rightpoint to continue to strive to... prioritize the most important pieces of feedback into initiatives. I think it is important then to communicate how progress is being made.
