I have been working at Camden Property Trust full-time for more than a year

Pros

I work in the marketing department, but every department within Camden is so helpful. In addition to working closely with the awesome marketing team, I find myself working very closely with... Operations, Real Estate Investments, Facilities, and Ancillary Services. I can tell the Camden Culture and it's core values are spread amongst each department because we all work toward the same goal in a friendly and happy manner. Excellent leadership is across departments. I work from home and travel for photoshoots on an as-needed basis and find the work-life balance extremely manageable. Amazing benefits and stock options are provided!

Cons

I really can't think of any cons other than perhaps a starting salary could be a bit higher for marketing directors.

Servant Leaders Loads of training and development Loads of advancement opportunities Growing every year International organization Loads of... integrated services and integration opportunities A progressive organization; always striving to stay ahead of the change curve People- and performance-oriented; motivated and inspired (Driven!) Proven exceedingly exceptional care for the employee members, especially from the ground up!

Cons

I am NOT a fan of the integrated valet trash service, especially for the property for which I serve. The integrated valet trash service at the property for which I serve does NOT have much margin for... error before the service becomes an extremely unwelcoming occurrence. I LOVE the progressive nature of this company in producing new and exciting ideas that quickly become initiated and implemented. Unfortunately, there's not enough preliminary testing before pulling the trigger companywide. However, it keeps things exciting and new, which I really appreciate the organization's interest, innovative ability, and responsibility to staying ahead of the curve.

Advice to Management

The ideas and initiatives of this organization are exciting to being part of. I would recommended 1) taking more time to test these ideas prior to implementing companywide policy, and 2) be cautious... towards implementing these ideas that may blur or cross the line between appropriately making other income and producing unethical risks.
