Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Cancer Care Ontario full-time

Pros

Many project opportunities, get to work with cross-functional teams. Members are very collaborative and intelligent

Cons

Too hierarchical, very top heavy organization. Too many review cycles for each document/process which increases the time it takes to launch projects

Advice to Management

Change the hierarchy structure, more opportunities for people to make decisions, less checking at every level, more autonomy

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at eHealth Ontario full-time

Pros

Flexible Work Program Interesting and rewarding work supporting clinicians and physicians with accessing patient data. Introducing exciting new projects or solutions.

Cons

Continuous re-structuring and re-organizations making it difficult to respond accordingly, while continuing to deliver. Morale has been low for years, with minimal attempts to improve or increase... staff satisfaction or engagement

Advice to Management

Provide a more stable work environment, with more consistent and clear communication on priorities and direction for the agency, with less transition and change (which creates instability, confusion,... and lack of trust or faith in the direction setting for the agency).
