I have been working at Capgemini full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Capgemini rewards and recognizes their employees. Company did not layoff any employees during COVID, game committed raises and bonuses. Company vision of Honesty, Trust,Boldness, Fun,Modesty,Freedom... and Team Spirit is followed with zeal and total devotion. People at all levels are encouraged to speak up , understand client issues and know operating margins to make informed decisions. When an employee or team over achieve goals for growth, margins of client satisfaction scores ; they get genrously rewarded at mid level and above. This 'share the wealth' culture is unique as most of my previous employers kept performance bonus for top executives and provided 'good job' emails for less fortunate.
Cons
Capgemini is large 270,000+ employees. With that comes some idiosyncrasy and bureaucracy . Various past acquisitions such as Sogeti, Lidos, and iGate continue to run like 'company within company for... maintain their old fiefdoms.
Advice to Management
Keep up great culture and quickly integrate all acquisitions to think as 'one Capgemini' and lose their old identity.
I have been working at Mercer for less than a year
Pros
I interned in the health line of business. Would highly recommend; internship was educational, fun, and highly rewarding. I was able to do the work of a full time analyst, see projects through from... beginning to end, and send decks that I'd assembled directly to clients.
Cons
Working in employee benefits means less exposure to broader actuarial functions.
