Current Employee - Sales Representative

I have been working at Carnival full-time for more than a year

Pros

Great people to work with and the concept of the job is easy

Cons

Don't get paid enough for what we put up with

I worked at McLeod Software

Pros

This is a great company to work for. They throw regular events and give away some neat swag. The people are great, especially in the custom programming group. The work can be fun especially if you... like fixing bugs. Custom coding projects are most enjoyable. The people really make this place though. It felt like a huge family.

Cons

A lot of the work in the custom programming group is support. That got really old after a while. The technology is really outdated too.

Advice to Management

I think if they paid a bit more and split support and new development between ALL programmers throughout ALL groups, it would be a more enjoyable job.
