Current Employee - Senior Lead Consultant

I have been working at Catapult Systems full-time for more than a year

Pros

Open door policy all the way to the CEO. Remote work policy allows excellent work / life balance. Ability to earn a lot of money via generous monthly bonus! Excellent insurance benefits for family... & spouse. Ability to learn something new every day and work with cutting edge Microsoft technologies. Feeling valued as an employee - I can't say enough about this. I know this sounds like a cheerleader, but I just passed my 1 year anniversary and hope I can work here until I retire.

Cons

Sometimes there is more work to be done than would be preferable in work / life balance, but you always have the ability to say "no" and turn off that valve.

KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING! It works awesomely!

I have been working at 9Gauge Partners full-time for less than a year

Pros

Interview process is intensive, requiring a candidate to be committed to the process and the company. The end result is a strong cultural fit with the company and no questions left unanswered about... what either side expects or hopes to gain. It also leads to an environment with extremely intelligent individuals all willing to ensure the success of each other and the team. Be prepared to speak to your experiences as well as your desire to work for the company. Technical know-how is crucial, but being able to articulate "why you", "why 9Gauge", and "why now" is equally as important.

Cons

It's a smaller company, with a lot remote work. To the extent that this would be new for you it may take some getting used to at first.
