Current Employee - Contact Center Specialist

I have been working at Christian Care Ministry full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Working at CCM feels like a calling much more than a job. Praying with our Members, Providers and fellow employees has been life changing! Knowing you are participating in a program that affects... people's lives...wow, that is satisfying.

Cons

Due to such rapid growth, employee parking can sometimes be a challenge! But I have seen improvement on this recently and know they are still working on long term solutions.

Current Contractor - Strategist

I have been working at Gospel for Asia for more than a year

Pros

1) GFA is a very affirming, gracious working environment; 2) The exceptional staff has incredible devotion to the cause of reaching the most impoverished people in Asia with the love of Christ, and... the good news; 3) Leadership is positive, affirming, and supportive of staff members; 4) GFA is making a lot of innovative decisions at work; 5) Campus life is great for enjoying a real, caring community; 6)Two airports (DAL & DFW) are less than an hour away to be able to get anywhere in the US when you have to get off campus; 7) GFA's extraordinary emphasis on humble prayer would be difficult to find at any organization anywhere else in the country. 8) Work facilities at GFA in Wills Point, Texas, are outstanding 9) A personal visit to India highlighted the incredible work GFA is doing among the slums of Asia (900), leper colonies , and widows islands. In 2017 alone, GFA installed over 4,600 Jesus Wells, gave 11,324 BioSand water filters to families, taught over 50,000 women to read and write, gave vocational training to almost 11,000 women, and provided over 8,700 sewing machines, in addition to installing over 6,300 toilets in needy communities, and giving over 230,000 Christmas gifts to those in desperate need.

Cons

1) GFA has some serious adversaries who are looking to cause the demise of the entire organization through ridiculous lawsuits and cyber bullying. 2) GFA is kind of in the middle of nowhere, about... an hour outside Dallas, so expect to drive a bit to get to places. 3) GFA gets cyber-bullied a lot online. I think most of those who speak poorly about it have never been to Asia to see first hand the incredible difference it's making for the poor and impoverished.

Advice to Management

Keep up the excellent work, and continue to believe in what you're doing, despite what criticisms may come your way.
