I have been working at Cisco Systems full-time for less than a year
Pros
1. It has wonderful work culture. 2. It encourages it's employees to be "YOU", you have full freedom to be yourself and this is when they believe the maximum potential can be unleashed. 3. The... leadership is top-notch right from bottom to the top. 4. Cisco respects each of its engineers, and it gives you full freedom to explore your talent, and unleash the potential within you. 5. It produces ground breaking products that are worth the experience to be a part of and contribute towards the same.
Cons
Really? If you have many Pro's i don't even think even the marginal con s are not really a con. However, I don't have anything to share which would be a con.
I have been working at Forescout Technologies full-time for less than a year
Pros
Great pay and benefits. Anyone who says the benefits are lacking hasn't worked for a crappy company that doesn't invest in their employees. They're just bitter about going from 93% to 90% cost... coverage! Welcome to reality and it could be WAY worse. 401k Matching - a must have! Executive leadership is truly interested in doing the right things for the company and the employees - internal promotions, diversity, compensation leveling, opportunity for growth, work/Life balance. Best in class technology - tired and true. No "start-up" risk of failure. Smart, talented, driven co-workers.
Cons
The "great resignation" has hit Forescout hard as it has many technology companies. Some teams are too lean right now which creates a lot of work for the individuals on teams hit hardest. Some of... the more tenured employees can't let go of the "good old days" and transform with the company. Lots of bitterness and resentment. It's a different company with different leadership and a different vision then it was 5 years ago. There's no going back now. People need to make a decision to commit to being successful or leave.
Advice to Management
Continue to hire new talent to help shape the future of the company. Build your teams up in advance of the resignations that you know are coming to keep the work life balance for your hard-working... employees. Get rid of any drag.
