Featured Review

Current Employee - Senior Vice President

I have been working at Citi full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Diversity, flexible work schedule, global presence

Cons

Work/life balance, recognition, rewards, growth and development

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at The Bancorp full-time

Pros

Good experience with payments and Fintechs. You’ll see a lot of negative reviews from people just disgruntled about the change in management but if you look at the earnings they’ve beat estimates... the past several quarters so things are improving. Management is full of humans - generally they are good people just trying to make a living. CEO is trying to build a culture - small company means you rub shoulders with top executives regularly. Met the CEO several times he has always been a charming and friendly individual showing genuine concern for his employees.

Cons

Turnover and benefits aren’t the best but people mistakenly compare them to the last big bank they came from so they incorrectly compare the small company against a big company.

Advice to Management

Invest in your employees and develop a long term view in order to maintain employees and prevent turnover.
