What Employees Say
I have been working at Citrix full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
I've been with the company for 6+ years and while it's not all be roses I can honestly say that I've experience tremendous personal and professional growth in my role(s) at Citrix. I started as a SDR... and have worked my way up and there's very few companies out there that promote from within like Citrix.
Cons
It can be a grind, but what sales role isn't?
Advice to Management
Listen to employees at every level.
I have been working at CommerceHub full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
- Beautiful modern office space complete with game room, meditation room, mother’s room, yoga room (classes are offered!), large eat-in kitchen, 3rd floor café and more - Great health care... benefits - True work/life balance - Fun employee events outside the office as well as in-office get togethers and treats - Holiday parties with generous gift giving - Annual bonuses - New ‘get to know’ the execs lunch-ins initiative, made to inform employees about what’s going on in different areas of the company are interesting and informative. When we are armed with more knowledge, this will help us succeed and win. - Awesome people across the entire organization, teammates feel like family
Cons
- Parking is tough, especially in the winter months, but CommerceHub listened to employees and started a shuttle this year which helps tremendously in the cold weather - Open concept workspace can... be loud and distracting - Sometimes there is unclear direction and decision making can be lengthy, but it seems to be getting better - Priorities change quickly, very faced paced environment (this is both a pro and a con to some) - Sometimes you have to fight to get recognition for hard work. If you want a promotion, you have to do the work to get the title you want, and even then there can be roadblocks. Impactful raises are hard to come by, but you have to be proactive for yourself and keep pushing upwards. - Would like to see more inclusion and more diversity
Advice to Management
- Keep listening to your employees, definitely seen a change within the last few months and feel heard - Be transparent and expose us to plans, roadmaps, and what is ahead for the company. You’re on... a good track, keep it up. - Come out from exec offices and mingle with employees, get to know them when you can, we appreciate this
