Featured Review

Current Employee - Sales

I have been working at Citrix full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

I've been with the company for 6+ years and while it's not all be roses I can honestly say that I've experience tremendous personal and professional growth in my role(s) at Citrix. I started as a SDR... and have worked my way up and there's very few companies out there that promote from within like Citrix.

Cons

It can be a grind, but what sales role isn't?

Advice to Management

Listen to employees at every level.

Current Employee - Senior Software Engineer

I have been working at Tradescape (California) full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Learn anything and everything. A .net programmer can work on core Java and a Java developer can work on .Net. A windows system administrator can work on Linux and vice versa.

Cons

The president micro manages. This is a software firm. Therefore, you end up with business executives making technical decisions. In addition, middle managers are powerless to stand up to him. This... explains why it could not take off .

Advice to Management

Replace management.
