"Great"Jul 10, 2019

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at City of Houston full-time for more than a year

Pros

Great pay and benefits. Opportunity to advance easily. Paid vacations

Cons

Probation for 1 year. Nothing else is bad

"Good Job"Sep 3, 2014

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Town of Griffith, Indiana full-time

Pros

The Town of Griffith offers a liveable wage. Insurance is good with the exception of dental coverage. Retirement benefits are offered through the state if you work long enough to be vested.

Cons

As mentioned above dental insurance is not good at all. Vision and some other misc insurances are offered but cost more. Depending on which dept you work in hours can be bad.
