"Intern Review"Jan 21, 2020

Former Employee - Intern

I worked at Clayton Homes full-time for more than a year

Pros

Great Company Culture, a lot of room to grow

Cons

Low Pay for the internship program

Former Employee - Financial Advisor

I worked at Edward Jones full-time for more than a year

Pros

Incredible training. Supportive network of advisors. You are given every opportunity to succeed with all the right tools. I was never turned away from another advisor when I needed help.

Cons

Perhaps more emphasis on sales training, and more exposure to the appointment process. Aside from that, I have nothing bad to say about the company. It is just a difficult industry to work in.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing! Just make sure your new hires are given the opportunity to see first and second appointments, and not just annual review appointments. Maybe provide some additional... sales training as well.
