Featured Review

Former Employee - Pediatric Occupational Therapist

I worked at Connecticut Children's Medical Center part-time for less than a year

Pros

Great company and rehab team. The rehab manager was very supportive and willing to assist with new or unfamiliar treatments/diagnoses. Reasonable productivity standards, opportunities for growth and... continuing education.

Cons

Lower hourly rate than other settings; high no show rate but scheduled at 90% productivity so if all of your patients show up there is no paperwork time.

Advice to Management

Expand office locations throughout the entire state - there is a lack of services in certain areas. I used to have a patient that drove over an hour each way to the Glastonbury location!

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Genesis HealthCare full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Career advancement, leadership development opportunities, promotion from within. With over 400 locations nationwide the ability to grow and develop within Genesis is always available in just about... every corner of the country.

Cons

A few less conference calls would be nice.

Advice to Management

Continue to create a culture focused on patient centered care, staff recognition and promoting and expecting integrity from all employees and vendors.
