Featured Review

Current Employee - Teacher

I have been working at Connections Academy full-time for less than a year

Pros

I absolutely love the flexibility of my schedule, my team, and the work I get to do in this company. The work-life balance is so much greater than being in a traditional school setting, and we get to... be a part of really meaningful work with students in an online capacity.

Cons

Need to be self-motivated and self-disciplined when working from home.

Current Employee - Family Connections Coordinator

I have been working at Pearson Online & Blended Learning full-time for more than a year

Pros

The Family Support team! Recognition programs and in-person and virtual get-togethers built a strong team environment. I feel like departmental and team leaders really care about my growth and... development. There is also a company-wide policy that reimburses you for a non-fiction book or athletic event to support mental and physical growth as well.

Cons

Technical and HR support are located off-site and only available via an online ticket system, so it can be hard to get issues resolved quickly,

Advice to Management

Continue to invest in the fantastic people that work here to make sure they stay!
