The only con was the remote work, but that was purely unavoidable due to the pandemic. In fact, I am thankful to the company for keeping the commitment to execute the program.

Phenomenal co-workers, friendly and understanding management who have moved up through the company themselves, great work life balance. One thing that always struck me was how much everyone seemed to... 'get it'. Even upper management were all passionate about something and all worked hard so they could get out and do what they loved the rest of the time, making for a fun, supportive atmosphere when at work. When working, honesty with customers always encouraged, which was nice. Hard workers seem to get rewarded with promotions fairly quickly.
Retail can suck, but that's not MEC's fault. High standard of work is expected, but a) it's retail so that's not too hard to achieve and b) I consider high standards a good sign, and a bit of a... compliment, seeing as I wasn't fired.
