I’ve been training 2 weeks in Cerner a lot of work very interesting the phones never stop ringing I talk to very nice patients I find the software IDX very fun the time goes by really fast Cerner you... can do everything on it for patients a lot of navigating.
I’ve been training 2 weeks in Cerner a lot of work we have to do everything. Very interesting frustrating at times trying to navigate on how to answer patients inquiries. One day I had to just sit on... the phone and gather my thoughts on what to do with the patient I felt lost I even took notes but still was a bit confused on how to note the patient account. I wish for myself to take a deep breath and relax I know I will get soon since it’s repetitive. Oh and the day I had to shadow with my trainer she threw me on the phone then said I was just playing with you.
Advice to Management
Longer training and hand on. Don’t just put us out on the floor or phones then tell us to use the chat for help and we’re waiting for a response for help for longer than 5 minutes.
