"Great Company"May 28, 2020

Former Employee - Audit Associate

I worked at EY full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Exposure to a lot of companies with many different kinds of great people

Cons

Difficult navigating the large company climate at times

"Love this firm"Apr 14, 2020

Current Employee - Audit Senior Associate

I have been working at Grant Thornton full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

- Great co-workers - Great work life balance - Great exposure to various industries and given the opportunity to see the full audit (top to bottom) at a much earlier stage than with Big 4

Cons

- With a predominantly middle-market clientele, you can occasionally run into the engagement where the client doesn't have it all together. Take these as learning opportunities though!
