Former Employee - Sales Manager

I worked at Emmis Communications full-time for more than 8 years

Pros

Great culture and took great care of their employyed

Cons

There aren’t any cons that come to mind

Advice to Management

None

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at iHeartMedia full-time

Pros

Strong engineering management cultivates young talents. Autonomy and openness to try new things keeps stacks current (Scala, React, Kotlin, Swift, etc all in the cloud). Digital team has access to... the rest of the company. There is a great chance that the code you wrote today will be in front of millions tomorrow. Lots of training opportunities and social clubs to help develop both skills and relationships.

Cons

Moving fast means some tech debt, without discipline you can rack up a lot. Benefits could be improved.

Advice to Management

Continue to recruit the best of the best!
